After a full day of learning, we’ll gather around the fire pit as the sun goes down over the Pacific Northwest. We’ll build the fire and lay out everything you need — graham crackers, chocolate, marshmallows, sticks, the works. Like everything at the PNW Grooming Conference, all materials are provided.
All you need to bring is yourself and your best conversation.
Some of the most meaningful connections at this conference don’t happen in the classroom. They happen here — around the fire, in the dark, with s’mores in hand and the trees all around you.
👻 Supernatural Themed Ice Cream Social — Monday Evening
Come dressed for the occasion. Seriously.
Monday evening we’re throwing a Supernatural Themed Ice Cream Social — and it’s exactly what it sounds like. Costumes encouraged, spooky vibes required, ice cream absolutely mandatory.
We’ll have a full spread of ice cream and frozen treats, plus non-ice cream options for those who prefer something different — because nobody gets left out at this conference, not even at the party.
And if it happens to be your birthday — or honestly, if it’s not — we have something very special in store. Melissa Jepson, The Sustainable Groomer herself, moonlights as a professional happy birthday singer and will be on hand to make sure you feel thoroughly celebrated. 🎂🎤

Think you have what it takes? Prove it.
Hidden somewhere on the grounds of Seabeck Conference Center are bags of crystals — and it’s your job to find them. We provide the clues. You provide the determination. The groomer who collects the most crystals wins a pair of shears.
But not just any shears.
These shears have been bedazzled with sparkle and shimmer specifically designed to bring out your hidden vampire. Because we know it’s in there. 🧛
And speaking of vampires — did we mention that Forks, Washington is about an hour and a half away? You know, that Forks. We’re not saying anything. We’re just saying the proximity is noted and the timing is not a coincidence. 🌲🌧️
